F31 | Oven temperature sensor failure. | Sensor resistance measured cold and at temperature, then compared with the control’s reading. Replaced if it is out of specification, and the oven recalibrated afterwards. |
F33 | Warming drawer sensor failure, reported while the drawer is active. | Same approach on the drawer circuit. Affects the drawer only, so the oven stays usable in the meantime. |
F41 | Motorized latch will not lock when it should be locked. | Latch mechanism and its switches checked for obstruction and alignment before any part is replaced. Self-clean is unavailable until it is fixed. |
F43 | Motorized latch will not unlock. | Treated as urgent, since the oven door is held shut. The latch assembly is released mechanically, then repaired or replaced. |
F45 | Latch reporting locked and unlocked at once. | A switch fault rather than a mechanism fault. Switches tested, latch assembly replaced if either has stuck. |
F111 | Runaway oven temperature: 585 °F with the latch unlocked. | Safety fault. Power is removed first. Usually a relay on the control board stuck closed with an element heating continuously. The display shows CONTACT SERVICE, and if the temperature keeps climbing the latch locks at 600 °F. |
F113 | Runaway oven temperature: 950 °F with the latch locked, during clean. | Same class of fault during self-clean. Same response: isolate power, then find what is heating without being told to. |
F121 | Stuck key in the membrane switch layer. | Keypad tested key by key. The membrane panel is the part that gets replaced; the control board is usually fine. |
F125 | Cancel key circuit problem. | Same panel, single circuit. Confirmed before ordering, since the symptom overlaps with F121. |
F141 | Slave micro not functioning. | An internal control fault. We verify it is not power-related first, because a brownout can present the same way. |
F151 | EEPROM failure or communication circuit failure while a cook or clean program is set. | Memory or the link between boards. Diagnosed before replacement, as a reconfiguration sometimes clears it. |
F153 | User interface too hot. | Points at ventilation rather than electronics: cooling fan operation and airflow around the control are checked first. |
F154 | Power board too hot. | Same line of investigation on the power board, including the cooling path and installation clearances. |
F155 | Cook profile corrupted in EEPROM. | Program data rather than hardware. Reconfigured, and if the fault returns the board is replaced. |
F170 | Power failure detected. | Often incidental after an outage. We check the supply and clear it, and only investigate further if it repeats. |
F190 | Power over-voltage at power on. | Measured at the outlet. This one can be the house rather than the range, and replacing parts without checking supply wastes your money. |
