California requires appliance repair companies to register with the Bureau of Household Goods and Services. Our registration number is BHGS 48535.

How to verify us

The BHGS register is public. Look up the number above before you let anyone into your home — not just us. An unregistered service company has no accountability and no recourse for you if the work goes wrong.

What the registration means

BHGS registration is what the state requires of a service dealer to take in appliance repair work at all. It is not a skills certificate and it does not endorse any particular technician, so treat it as the floor rather than the ceiling: it tells you the company is accountable to a regulator and that you have somewhere to complain to that is not the company itself.

Insurance

If your building, HOA or property manager needs a certificate of insurance on file before a technician can work on site, ask when you book and we will arrange for it to be sent over.

Refrigerant work

Opening a sealed refrigeration system to recover or charge refrigerant requires EPA Section 608 certification under federal law. It is your right to ask the technician to show that certification before that work begins, and a company that cannot produce it should not be opening the system.

What we are not

We are not a factory-authorized service center for any manufacturer. We hold no authorization from Sub-Zero Group, BSH Home Appliances, Viking, Miele or any other producer, and nothing on this site should be read as claiming otherwise. We repair their equipment as an independent company and install manufacturer parts.
